SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The Matrix Screensaver is designed for use on color-enabled handhelds running Palm OS 3.5 or higher, including 160x160, 320x320, 320x480 and 480x320 screen resolutions. Palm OS 5 enhanced.

The application features full Palm compliance and does not override system preferences. Please, report conflicts with "hacks" and other applications to Support.

INSTALLATION

Use HotSync to transfer files to your Palm device. Install "Matrix_HR.prc", if your handheld supports high-resolution. Pick "Matrix_LR.prc" in case of a low-resolution color device. Just make sure to uncheck "Stay on in Cradle" option to fully utilize screensaver capabilities and allow auto-launch. 

Install "SSManager.prc" for advanced screensaver settings.

ATTN Palm Tungsten T3 owners only. Install DIA Compatibility Layer prcs (AppSlipRotate.prc and StatusBarLib.prc from distribution package) to enable Dynamic Input Area APIs for widescreen mode support.

INSTRUCTIONS

By default when installed, The Matrix Screensaver will use "Auto-off After" system settings to auto-launch with time in a powered-on cradle. The application will also auto-launch immediately upon placing powered-off device in the cradle (PalmOne devices only, does not work on Sony and Zodiac). In order to save your battery, the screensaver will go auto-off in 30 minutes.

To customize screensaver preferences and take use of advanced settings, launch SSManager application from Handy Entertainment. Use "?" for quick hints and browse Help on application menu to learn more about SSManager capabilities.

Advanced settings of The Matrix Screensaver include: Matriculated clock (Digital or Analog), Falling speed and Events frequency to customize falling katakana characters scheme.
