* Kitten Shaver 2 First off I would like to thank the 3000+ people who downloaded Kitten Shaver from Mac World, Mac Savvy, and AOL's Web Page (to name a few). Because of your letters and support, I'm proud to give you Kitten Shaver 2, Kitty's Revenge. Kitten Shaver 2 has a very easy interface. After the story screen you can chose to play the original Kitten Shaver(actually KS 1.5) or part 2 (8 levels and a final kitty). You can also turn off the sound effects and music. Press start after you have made your selections, and you are ready to play. When the time's up the game is over. Play again or press quit and get back to work. (Command-Q quits & Command-P pauses the game at anytime). The game screen * (1.) Time Left (2.) Level (3.) Kittens remaining (4.) Weapon in use (5.) ammo * The red HIT ME's store your weapons and ammo. Hit them quick and collect what's inside. If a kitten eat's one of your HIT ME's, he will become harder to shave. Before you can select the better weapons, you must first pick them up from the HIT ME's. Weapons and Ammo(select by pressing this button) * Scissors 1 * Razor(Bic Classic ) 2 * Electric Razor 3 * Shot Gun 4 * Laser 5 * Razor Blades (for Razor and Electric Razor) the red ammo bar * Bullets (for the Shot Gun, you guessed huh) the green ammo bar * Batteries (for the Laser) the yellow ammo bar Kittens * Timmy (weak) * Zoel (average) * Cleo (strong) * Boots (tough) ? The Final Kitty Thanks Thanks has to go out to Mr. Jonathan Sweet, and his version of the Bunny Killer series. Without Bunny Killer 3, there would be no Kitten Shaver 2. John if you ever see this let me know what you think. Thanks, and good luck, goes out to Mr. Lee Patterson who has moved to Ft. Lauderdale to pursue his computer training. I'll miss you Lee, but I'm sure we will work together in the future. I would also like to thank my family for being so supportive of the series (and buying most of the computer equipment). To my best friend and new college roommate, Rob Cappiello, who I know I've been a jerk to in the past. Thanks for sticking by me and being so supportive. Also to Bobby Egbert and Chris Kanehl, thank you for whatever it is you do. A special thank you to Mr. John Wolf, who helped me work out many bugs in my program (or at least made me aware of them). And to my own cats Timmy, Cleo, Zoel, and Boots, my dog, who's likenesses are being shaved on Macs around the world. Where to Write Kitten Shaver 2 is What-You-Can-Spare-Ware. I know these are hard times (I should, I'm a poor Computer Science Major at the University of South Florida), but if you can spare a buck or two please send your donation to: Nick Ruva Attn: Kitten Shaver 2 2267 Springrain Drive Clearwater, Fl. 34623 Otherwise I expect some e-mail at: KityShaver@aol.com Please write with any suggestions or questions you may have. P.S. I already know about the music glitch (It won't stay off) I'm working on it, expect a patch soon. If you want to play KS2 without the music, simply drag the music files out of the Kitten folder, it's a quick fix, for now. ***Also, some extensions and KS2 don't get along. The biggest problem I've heard of is quitting KS2 out to the finder with the SFX off, it may cause a freeze. To keep this from happening make sure the SFX are on before quitting out to the finder. Sorry for the inconvenience if you bombed it. 1996 The Shaved Cat By: Nick Ruva Original sick idea: Lee Patterson
